In Hebrew, a hevruta is two or more people who learn together. Right now, there are a lot of you at home who perhaps have time to fill and something you always wanted to learn. We are creating a kind of virtual bulletin board here — I can Teach/ and I would like to learn.

Please fill out this form if you would like to teach or tutor anything from math, to knitting, to challah baking, to a conversation in another language, to a book group, to reading to a child, to a knitting circle. Similarly, post what you might like to learn. Also, give us your preferred contact information — phone, email — and to whom you would like to offer your teaching (a small child, a group of 5 or more, someone your age).

We will not set up the groups. Once you make your connection, you can figure out how you want to do this. Maybe you are a college student at home and you would like to tutor math to a high school student. Maybe you speak Yiddish and would like someone to converse with once a week. Maybe you have a child who could use some reading help.  Consider it a big Classified Section on Learning!
