7:00 PM - 8:30 PMCongregation B'nai JacobJoin us for an evening of powerful stories and perspectives from Northern Israel. Nearly 100,000 people have been evacuated from this region over the past year, living in the shadow of ongoing conflict. A delegation of community members from Northern Israel will share their personal experiences, discuss the challenges and resilience within their communities, and reflect on their dreams for a peaceful, reimagined future. This event will feature first-hand insights from individuals directly impacted by terror, both before and after October 7, and is hosted by Congregation B'nai Jacob and Jewish National Fund-USA.

Using Gila Fine’s award-winning book, The Madwoman in the Rabbi’s Attic, we will study the talmudic passages about the six named women in the Talmud. This will give us the opportunity to learn some Talmud together, to think more about the role of women in the Talmud, and to dig into Fine’s work more deeply. Everyone is welcome. No experience necessary. Free for members; non-members $100. -
