This year we will show the 2017 Israeli film, “The Cakemaker.” This beautifully told narrative is about an Israeli man, Oren, who has an affair with a German baker, Thomas, when he travels to Berlin on business. Oren is killed in a car accident and Thomas travels to Jerusalem to understand Oren’s life and meet his family.

Join us for the film and for the moving Selichot service which serves as a prelude to the holiday season.

As we approach the Hebrew anniversary of the October 7 massacre, we are hosting a luncheon with the rabbi in the sukkah.
