Break the Fast at CBJ
Saturday, October 12, 2024 • 10 Tishrei 5785
7:00 PM - 9:00 PMAfter spending a long and meaningful holiday together, it will be nice to join together to close out the holiday in food and fellowship. Immediately after the Shofar sounds. The meal will be free of charge but reservations are required so that we can order the right amount of food.
A special reminder to parents: At B’nai Jacob we have a tradition at the end of Yom Kippur in which children parade into the sanctuary holding glow sticks and join us on the bimah for havdalah. It is a very lovely ceremony and we would love to have all your kids. Please plan on being at the synagogue by 6:45pm at the latest so your child can participate.
Sorry, Registration has ended.

Calling all singers! Please join Cantor Kochava and the Greater New Haven community to participate in a monthly niggun circle. Niggunim are soulful, wordless melodies which can be used to enhance spiritual reflection and communal connection. We will be meeting on the last Wednesday of each month from 7-8pm. We will alternate between Congregation B’nai Jacob and BEKI. If you would like to be on the email list, please email Cantor Kochava at cantorkochava@bnaijacob.org.
