Community Fundraising Spotlights

JCARR children, like all children, grow a lot from season to season.  
For his Bar Mitzvah project, Emile Stanley is working to provide summer clothing needed by JCARR children.  He is collecting gift cards and gently used clothing for these JCARR children:

Boys: ages 1, 3, 11, 14, 16  Girls: ages 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 15, 17, 18

Gift cards for stores including Target, Burlington Coat Factory, Kohls and Walmart can be emailed to Emile’s mother, Njeri Thande, or given to Kate Ezra at CBJ.  

Clothes can be dropped off in the lobby at Congregation Mishkan Israel, 785 Ridge Rd, Hamden, CT 06517, or at the garage of the Stanley family home at 192 Bishop Street, New Haven. The garage is always open.
