Habitat for Humanity

Amity Cares is our local chapter of Habitat for Humanity and is currently in the building phase of our second home in New Haven, on Rosette Street. All congregants over 16 years of age are welcome to participate, no prior construction experience required. B'nai Jacob volunteers are needed for one Sunday per month. Sign up as a volunteer by contacting Susan Cowan or Melanie Wolf.

Save the date for the Dedication of the second Amity Cares home:
Sunday December 9th at 3 pm at 96 Rosette  Street, New Haven
The dedication is the culmination of all our hard work when we get to see the family officially named the homeowner. This will be a short ceremony, refreshments, and a tour of the house, rain or shine.

TEENS: Amity Cares hosted a Youth Work Day on November 18th at the nearly completed house on Rosette Street in New Haven.
