Congregation B'nai Jacob is led by Rabbi Joel Levenson.
Rabbi Joel Levenson has been our spiritual leader since 2008. He was Associate Rabbi of Temple Beth Sholom in Cherry
Hill, New Jersey from 2002 to 2008. Rabbi Levenson's reputation as a dynamic and
inspiring pulpit presence, along with his warm and caring personality,
makes him the perfect rabbi for Congregation Bnai Jacob. Rabbi Levenson
has worked with preschool classes, young families and parents, and has
great experience educating and leading teenagers. He is proud of the
many trips he has led to Israel. Rabbi Levenson has worked
extensively with Outreach to young families and those not sure about
synagogue life. He would like to meet you and tell you about B'nai
Jacob and how you can be part of our congregation..
Rabbi Levenson is a graduate of The Jewish Theological Seminary in New
York (2001). He is a member of the Rabbicial Assembly and on the Board
of Directors of MERCAZ USA and Tower One/Tower East in New Haven.
Rabbi Levenson is married to Leora Cohen. They are the proud parents of Shir and Sam.
