Second Sundays
are B'nai Jacob's day to volunteer
at the Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen. Please let us know which date/s and time/s you are coming, and who is coming with you.  This is easy and rewarding work for older kids, teens and adults.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS on these Sundays:
  July 13
  August 10
  September 14
  October 12

TIMES:
between 12 noon & 3 pm
(to help prepare the food)
4:15 pm - 6:00 pm
(to serve the food)

Please let us know you are coming! (Kal Watsky, Social Action Chair)
Do you want to be reminded when we need people? Be on our email reminder list.

LOCATION:
311 Temple Street in New Haven (one block from the New Haven Green)

The Soup Kitchen is in the church basement. Go down the stairs on the LEFT side of the church. Parking is plentiful in the Yale faculty lot across the street. (The Soup Kitchen is at Slifka Center at Yale during the school year.)

Other times the Soup Kitchen needs help:
Wed night August 6th, 5:30 pm until 7 pm.
Wed night August 20, 5:30 pm until 7 pm.
Wed night August 27, 5:30 pm until 7 pm.

They also need help running their food pantry every Wed from 1-3 pm.
(This is a great project for kids & teens in the summer.)

All locations are 311 Temple Street until end of October, when they switch to inside Slifka Center.
