JEWISH COALITION FOR LITERACY (JCL) recruits, trains, places and supports volunteer reading partners in local schools to read one-to-one with children who benefit from the support of a caring adult sharing the joy of reading. You can help children succeed by volunteering just one hour each week. Join JCL’s incredible team of volunteer reading partners, who are making a difference in so many children’s lives, helping the children improve their reading skills while helping them feel success. JCL will hold an Orientation Session for new and returning volunteer reading partners on Tuesday, September 16th at 9:00 am at the JCC in Woodbridge. Come hear JCL reading partners share their experiences and consider participating in this exciting way of helping the world, Tikkun Olum, one child at a time. Lets give kids the opportunity to succeed.
